Pirate Ship Diagram Scale

WALT draw a scale diagram of a ship where 1 cm = 1 m

Success Criteria:

To be successful my pirate ship

• Is 10 cm long
• Has a 5 cm tall mast in the centre of the ship
• A 1 cm plank on the end
• A 1 cm long flag on the mast
• The bottom of the ship is 3 cm below deck

I found this activity Tricky because I had to keep doing it over again

I can now use a ruler to create a diagram where 1 cm is equal to 1 m in real life.

Information Report

IALT write an information report
For this activity the first I did was find out information about my bird. I recorded the facts in a google slide as well as recording it in my book. The four categories I wrote about were behaviour, diet, appearance and habitat. My next step is to write an information report about their favourite trees and plants. I could also try writing about another topic but use the same paragraph structure.

IALT: create a diagram using google drawings

For this activity I had to get pictures of wood pigeons and look at them. I had to label the different parts of the bird using arrows and text boxes. Next time perhaps I could add more labels. 

Monsterpedia Page

IALT: create a monsterpedia page using an information report format
For this activity I had to think of a monster to make or look up monsters for inspiration. I chose Nessie as one of them. Nessie lives in the Loch Ness. This is a real monster. My next step is to create fox boy and fox girl. I am going to practice writing in paragraphs.

Miss Trunchbull

My Miss Trunchbull is the same as the description. She is super strong and likes throwing childern out the window!

Reading numbers

In this activity I had to read large numbers.
I can read 4 and 5 digit numbers, sometimes even 7 digits.
It was hard because I had to try and try again because lots and lots of times.
My next steps are to read even larger numbers
and, add and subtract large numbers.

Bike Skills

We were learning bike sikiles and I was riding up down the mulch hill Weeeeeeeeeh it was really fun!
